Be the change you want to see in this world.

Image
Change comes from within each of us. To all of my friends and family please look inside yourself and be the change you want to see in the world. My Facebook page is mine with my opinions and not to push my ideas on anyone or make anyone change their opinions. I have always been a helper and one who sticks up for others no matter what. It could be a stanger, someone I may not particularly like or agree with their opinions but I still respect them and if they need help or someone to back them up I am there for them. I have put together several images with thoughts, quotes and cuteness that I have saved over the past few weeks that we have talked about in our family. I strive everyday to see the best in people and look for the positive in every situation. I believe the media has a lot to blame with a lot of our current events and I am trying to figure out a way I can look to any source of news these days and simply find the facts or details that are known about the situation not a reporte...

Come together with faith, love and hope.

I wish we would fill all of our social media with positive thoughts, actions and good deeds of others. I love everyone and believe we have all had our struggles just in different ways. Growing up my parents did a great job at explaining the history of things, why people said different words/phrases in the past for people and they tought me why it was wrong. I was tought to treat everyone equally with no prejudice or judgment. You truly cannot tell a book by its cover and that is the same thing with people. Now at 40 I have been seeing so much hate and division between the races and I feel it has to due with media influence that started a good 10 years ago. It could be more but it seems like there was a time back when that the media and people in general did not bring race into a situation. Y...

Image
Sienna did a self portrait at school. This picture does not do it justice. Her technique and expression in her drawing skills is amazing. Her art teacher did an amazing job in teaching her these skills to sketch a portrait and do to a self portrait like this is outstanding. Hardest thing to do in my book and she rocked it. Great job Sienna. Love it!
