Happy Monday

Image
Since this pandemic began I have been wearing basically t-shirts and sweatpants everyday. This morning I looked in my closet and felt bad for my nice clothes. So I decided to dress up a bit to work this morning. Maybe I should have also put on makep????  Nah maybe later today. It does feel good to be dressed up again. Make sure you are taking time to enjoy the things you have.

Paper planner vs digital planner

I started this blog post back in Feb 2020....but we all know what happened. By March we didn't need planners as we all had nothing going on.  I used to be an all paper planner type of girl but over the years (and working for a software company) I have moved to all digital. I miss my paper planner so had begun looking into bullet journals. I thought this would be perfect to get me back into paper planners as it was a very creative way to track events and many other things going on in my life.  In 2019 I tried to start a bullet journal several times. 4th of July 2020

Well our 4th of July started out just like the rest of this year. We had a bit of a trailer issue on the way to the lake. Good thing we had stopped in the Walmart parking lot for ice and snacks otherwise it probably would have fallen off on the road someplace.  After four hours in the parking lot, several trips to buy tools/supplies to fix it enough to go to a near by lake on three wheels we were off. I have to say that the kids and Siennas friends who were with took the delay pretty good. They got to people watch (wave at cute boys) in the boat while eating our snacks.  Ryan found out you can pay for air for your tires only to find that it doesn't work. To make matters worse the attendant at the Walmart pumps where the air was wasnt too helpful. When Ryan went to let them know the air machine was broken she asked him how his day was going. Ryan covered in dirt and grease said could be better. Then the lady said yeah I bet I have been watching you try to fix that t...
