Taking this vacation has been very liberating. As we meet other family's and individuals traveling and listening to their thoughts on this pandemic and the state of our country it makes me hopeful and feeling proud. There are so many Americans in the United Sates right now that are sick of the pandemic and people thinking we all hate each other. I believe now more than anything that Faith, Love and Community runs strong through our nation and if you agree please share this message to give others hope that our Faith and our Up North niceness is all over in our country. There are so many people that don't want to see our freedom of choice taken away and we want to live our lives and make this nation great again. So each day say a prayer, hug your family, take care of your neighbors and do something nice for a complete stranger. LOVE, FAITH AND COMMUNITY will get us through these times together.

Anyone else have issues with your clean laundry coming out still smelly? Well with three kids very active in sports and activities we were not having good luck getting our clothes smelling good. We would be out and about and my hubby would say does something smell???? Then he smells his shirt and says oh man its me! Also my eldest would come home from practice and say "Mom....stop washing my clothes with the towels....they stink!" So we decided to find some better products to help fight the orders. Hubby and I went to Fleet Farm and bought some oder blaster to add to the wash and also picked up some fresh scent add in that makes your clothes smell good for weeks. Well we will see how they work. This morning we tried it and it was a very surprising reaction from the family. Hubby was thrilled with the results. Eldest was extatic on how it smelled. Then our middle boy said...."our laundry isn't supposed to smell like this....what is this new smell? Is this fresh/cle...

How are you? I think I am okay, but confused as to how we have hit this point in the US. Pandemic, hatred, manipulation of facts and opinions are trying to rule the world. Over time there have always been struggles, bad people, bad organizations but it seems like there is always a lesson to learn and we can grow from these situations. People need to reach out to each other and understand we all come from different backgrounds and life experiences so not everyone is the same. I am not perfect and one is, but I work hard to get to know people from other backgrounds, religions, countries. Its fun to see how others live and learn about their traditions. In doing this I have learned that things I grew up saying don't always come across the same way to those who didn't grow up around me. This is a hard lesson to learn as sometimes people don't want to tell you that offended them or they are too angry to say something to you about it. Thoughts on life?

Sitting here tonight at a park people watching I see so many body shapes and sizes. Everyone that I see is having fun znd enjoying their kids playing on the equipment. Over the years I have learned to embrace my body shape but that still does not stop the self dought and self hatred for not having a body that is in shape. I have been over my size ideal weight my entire adult life but not over weight. That mom bod with the wonderful middle weight after having three kiddos. Right now I am about 20+ pounds over where I should be at....but I don't care. I'm happy with my body and how I look. Is it because I am now 40? Is it because we don't go out much with the pandemic. Maybe because I haven't put jeans on since February? Who knows. I hope this feeling stays and that I don't gain anymore. Hahaha....i had better not. On our walk back to the Jeep I finally figured out why I still do have some anxiety about body size. I got that look, you know that up and d...

Again as many as you would like. * Dump a can of cream of chicken (or any cream of soup you have) over potatoes. * Dump some sour cream on top...again as much as you think you like. * Throw some handfuls of shreadded sharp cheedar cheese on top. * Salt and pepper to your liking Then stir it all up and cover with tin foil. Place in over set to 375 degrees. Taco Meat: * Throw defrosted hamburger in a greased pan. Break it up a bit Put that right in the oven with the potatoes. After 30 minutes stir/break up hamburger. Let both sit in oven for 1.5 or more hours....it really de...
