Eating healthy takes a twist when cravings come in.

Image
The other day I was trying to turn our family into one that eats more healthy food.  We had signed up for Hello Fresh as a family Christmas present and have been enjoying the food we had selected to come.  So while at the grocery store the second week of January I picked out lots of fruit, veggies and things and brought it home. Well once I got home I arraigned the fruit into a pretty pattern in our basket on the counter. It sure does look great in our new kitchen. (Oh yeah, we did a full kitchen remodel in our house among other things - but more on that in later posts.)  So back to eating healthy.  After I was done putting the fruit on the counter to look pretty I looked in the fridge.  We had a Hello Fresh meal I could cook or left over taco meat. I also thought about the homemade popovers I had made to take to my parents for Christmas which we left all of the extras there.  I was really craving a popover and honey butter. I  precede...

My Hubby ~ Ryan

Image
My husband Ryan is an amazing person.  He is so great with our three kiddos, he really gets involved in what is going on in their lives and is there to support them in anything.  We have been together for 17 years as of today.  Its our anniversary today we cannot believe it has been 17 years already.  We have gone through many ups, downs, changes, surprises, and anything you could imagine these past years.  It is funny how you grow as a couple, as parents and as individuals.  Everyday is not perfect, but it is a marriage and we are two people who are together to support our kids and make it work.  As I said in another post, nothing is perfect and everything takes work.  Even a marriage takes failure, learnings and trials.  As long as you keep trying you still find what works in a marriage and how to fall in love with each other through all sorts of changes, challenges and life in general.  I love you babe! Thanks for being there for us a...

My third baby ~ Brynn

Image
Brynn is our third child and the spunk, spirit of our family.  There is never a dull day with her around.  Being the youngest she knows many other kids and family's and actually known around the entire school. She has a huge heart and personality.  You know what she wants and she will stick up for anyone.  But she also has a shy side to her.  Growing up with 2 older siblings she seems to grow out of the little kid things much faster than the others.  She went right into playing sports, on a phone and with friends as she was the tag along at all of her siblings sporting and other activities.  I love her spirit and love of life, she is going to be a great leader.

My second baby ~ Jaxon

Jaxon is our second child.  He is strong, creative, fun loving and also has the biggest heart.  He is always there to stick up for his friends and family everywhere he goes.  Jaxon also is involved in may sports, Xbox, church, being outside and loves hanging with friends.

My first baby ~ Sienna

Sienna our first child who is strong, confident and knows what she wants.  She is a teenager who is involved in a lot of different things - sports, church, friends, shopping, phone, etc.... She is a joy to be around and watch as she is a very busy girl with activities.

Why procrastination sucks:

Image
When I started this blog my idea was to be perfect, ensure I please everyone and make sure it was the best blog out there. Well that didn't happen.....I failed and failed hard.  Moving forward  I am going to post things that are meaningful and memories to me, my kids and family/friends.  Its our life, its not perfect but I love everyone in it and will share our journeys as we go through them to look back at the lessons and laughter we have enjoyed together. I have listed the three things that have been keeping me from this blog, life and just living.  Today is the start of me not procrastinating anymore and enjoying things with no worries. You feel things need to be perfect: - Why do I always thinking everything need to be perfect, you learn over time that the most from the times you mess up and don't get the outcome you were looking for. That is also where the fun comes in.  I love when trying to do something you just stop and look arou...
